You can visit this place

This is a remote village in Myanmar only accessible through Thailand. Due to that, no Myanmar visa is required. It is a place with no tourists, just a few volunteers can be seen from time to time. It is an adventurous trip without comfort but a true connection to nature, nature’s sounds, natures’ wonderfully crafted landscapes, river baths, intimate connection to Karen culture, and so on. This is a trip to disconnect from the daily stress, for adventure seekers and nature lovers. Most of all this is an experience that will connect you to old times and will allow you to live a few days very differently.

This volunteer had me learning so much about Myanmar, its culture, and actual problems that I could never get this knowledge anywhere else.

The 1st day was tough. We, me, the other volunteer and 2 of Sabine's kids, had the task of bringing bricks from the other side of the river and through uphills

I’m already in Mu Aye Pu, the remote Myanmar village where I will volunteer. The place is peaceful and gorgeous.

This will be my third volunteer through Workaway, but this time I’m even more excited. I will volunteer in a very remote area of Myanmar
