Traveler Experience: Eduardo’s feelings about Myanmar

I found Eduardo while searching for pictures about Myanmar. Firstly I found his video of this magical land that brought me to tears. There is no explanation for it. Only I understand it as my reactions are based on all the wonderful experiences I lived in Myanmar. Maybe I just miss that feeling too much, or maybe it reminds how good it is to have a smile on your face every single day.

Myanmar is my favorite country, so I’m always keen to listen to other travelers opinions about Myanmar. Maybe to check if someone feels the same as me. And sharing this feeling is so great!

That’s why I decided to ask Eduardo how was his experience in this country and show others what they can experience by visiting Myanmar. Here are his thoughts about it:

What’s your favorite place in Myanmar?

Bagan … riding a scooter in the middle of that “ocean” of beautiful temples is simply indescribable!

What did you like the most?

The most incredible experience was during the Trekking from Kalaw to Inle Lake, after meeting Zaw. Zaw was my trekking guide, I was so inspired by him that I had to introduce him in the video I made of Myanmar. This trekking inspired me in such a way that when I returned to my country I decided to dedicate more time to do videos and physical exercise.

Those were two things I really wanted to do but I was dragging it for a long time. The excuse is “lack of time”. However, I realized that we have the time we want to have, and there will never be a better time than this one. Since then I’ve shot 3 weddings and I’m going 3 times a week to CrossFit.

What do you think that makes Myanmar so unique?

The people, the culture, the way of acting towards life. We have much to learn from these people who, despite being poor in money, have a very very rich spirit. They are authentic, they are what they are, without filters.

This was one of a kind experience and I’m sure it wasn’t that way only for me. You can also read another traveler experience in Myanmar HERE!
